Media Resources Project Opportunity

Are you a local film, TV or media student? Looking for some meaningful project work this summer? We need someone to help us produce supporting media for our Suicide Safer Schools programme launching in Autumn. A brief overview of the progarmme can be found here.

We require someone who can film interviews and focus groups we conduct with young people exploring their experiences of mental health issues and getting support. And to edit the footage into a variety of formats for use in teaching materials and social media/website/campaign resources. You would need to have access to your own video and editing equipment. Filming would take place across July/August, approximately 10 days, with editing to our spec across August/September. Where anonymity of contrubutors is required we would also be keen to explore other creative formats for the lived experience of the young people to be communicated.

Working hours/terms are negotiable and we would consider taking on more than one person for the role where this brings us additional creative possibilities.

We are particularly keen to work with local film/tv/media students and colleges with whom we can establish longer term creative relationships, or local creatives who have an affinity to our mission and can offer affordable services to our charity.
